Every hour is one to much – for the end of wage labour!
„A corpse rules society – the corpse of labour. All powers around the globe formed an alliance to defend its rule: the Pope and the World Bank, Tony Blair and Jörg Haider, trade unions and entrepreneurs, German ecologists and French socialists.“, so says the manifesto against labour.
Every year on may 1st thousands of people take to the streets. They protest for their right to work, for higher wages and more social balance. Some seem to think they are fighting the class war for quiet some time already, right on the verge of the revolutionary moment of overthrowing capitalism.
While people fought for the eight hour working day during the so called Heymarket Riots 1886, nowadays the Fight against wage work does not seem to play a big role anymore. Since a long time we are hearing speeches about meaningful wage labour or simular topics on may 1st.
The working class and the workers thereby present, wanted or not, as the other side of the coin of capitalism.Instead of opposing the capitalist system they often play it’s game and limit themselves by demanding small changes in the rules of this game.
The struggle for higher wages and improving the working environement are to be welcomed in the short term, but in the long run wage labour may not keep its end in itself.
Wage labour is always a state of dependence!
– Therefore we have no choice but to initiate its end.
Proletarians of all countries, quit!
Against low wages and rivalness!
For a classless society!
For the social revolution!
Against the capitalist Mill – for the end of wage labour!
